As an Operations Analyst at Flipster
You will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, focusing on leveraging data and automation to enhance efficiency and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong technical background who is eager to use a variety of tools, including AI, to innovate our operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain scripts and APIs (e.g., Zendesk, Slack) to automate tasks, connect disparate systems, and ensure seamless data flow.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on structured and unstructured data, such as user tickets and campaign metrics, to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Act as a subject matter expert in AI prompting, applying best practices to generate and refine code for automation, analyze qualitative data, and streamline complex tasks.
- Design and implement intelligent automations and workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across all teams.
- Manage and optimize key platforms like Zendesk, utilizing your expertise to create and maintain robust ticketing, LiveChat, and Answer Bot systems.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth functioning of the operations team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) for tasks like code generation (JavaScript/Apps Script), data summarization, and process brainstorming.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and BigQuery for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with APIs and a scripting language like JavaScript or Google Apps Script.
- Proven experience as a Zendesk administrator, with a deep understanding of its capabilities for automation and reporting.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks and develop creative, data-driven solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
